Chlamydia Treatment: Typically treated with azithromycin (a single dose) or doxycycline (a seven-day course), which are highly effective in eliminating the infection.
Gonorrhea Treatment: Due to increasing antibiotic resistance, the current recommended treatment is a dual therapy with ceftriaxone (a single injection) and azithromycin (a single dose). This combination is effective in clearing the infection and reducing the spread of resistant strains.
Trichomoniasis Treatment: Although not a bacterial infection but caused by a parasite, it is treated with metronidazole or tinidazole, taken orally in a single dose.
